: I wonder if my very quick summary of C S Lewis' Mere Christianity made it to you. I think that Lewis demonstrates one technique for would be Christians here. In numerous places he says to imagine something in Christian theology you want to achieve, e.g., having the strength of will to love God. He says imagine what you would do and think if you did have love (not the feeling of being in love) with God. Act that way, i.e., put on one of Shakesphere's masks and perform the way you imagine. In sufficient time you will no longer be acting...it will be real.
: This is the best quick summary of Mere Christianity which I can think of. It uis one of the most surprising ways to understand Christianity.
