I think I can. Neitzche believed that the purpose of values was to affirm life, to affirm existence. However, in reality the search for "the truth" denies this very process of creating life affirming values by placing the need for truth above those lies which might help us to live. I truth seeker would not necessarily believe in eternal love since he knows how fleeting love is. Nonetheless, the belief in eternal love is life affirming. Thus, the truth seeker puts truth above life and, consequently, wills death to some extent.
