You might start with the obvious. The Female's role-Home & Hearth-versus the Male's role-Whaling for wages.
Also think about how the Women in Ahab's Wife are the heads of households or businesses because either their men are dead or away at sea. They are busy with the toils of everyday living. While in Moby , the men are out at sea or are preparing for voyage. Their's is a limited existence. Their concerns are the ocean and whales. They really don't know their families or about their everyday troubles. Women play an almost non-existant role in Moby .
