: does anyone, anywhere, know salinger's address? i am not trying to breach the man's privacy, i swear, but his stories have reached me in a way i can't appropriately express and if possible i would like to send him a letter to briefly thank him for existing. most frustratingly for me, no one seems to be positive even of what state he lives in... so i thought, although this doesn't seem to be the liveliest of message boards, someone might happen across this who knows a way i can contact the man. if that someone is you, please email me. i promise not to auction off the address to a stalker.
