: I wish so many people who are trying to find out about salinger i.e. reporters would leave him alone he wants his privacy. I think its sick how joyce maynard sold his letters to her but the guy who bought them gave them back so there are still good people in the world. I think its cool how he has never sold the movie rights. Does anyone else find ironic that he doesn't give interviews publish anymore to avoid press and so people will focus attention on his work and legends about his eccentricities have eclipsed his work?
