"Raise High" is a novella by JD salinger
usually published with another called
"Seymour- An Introduction". It has nothing
what so ever to do with Catcher in the Rye.
It is about the Gl family, who salinger has written
about in several other novellas and short stories about.
The main character is Buddy Gl. If you look carefully
you can find suggestions that Buddy may have written
Catcher in the Rye and many others of Salinger's books.
The actual plot is told in flashback form. It is an account
of Seymour -Buddy's older brother- 's wedding day.
Very interesting book and I suggest you read it yourself if you
intend to write an essay on it
