Unfortunatly, it's almost impossible to get a good grade on a project if you don't know what you are talking about. It would really help if you read the book. It is very short, and should only take you a day or two. stradlater and Ackley are only in the first few chapters as main characters. Later in the novel they are only used in reference, so I think if you read the first part, you should be fine. However, I don't think Ackley had too much of a "force" on Holden. I think Stradlater had a force, but maybe you could focus on the death of Holden's brother. This seems to be a major 'force' and actually a simple answer to research. The death of his brother Allie is also within the first half of the book. Good luck, I wish I could tell you what to write, but I think it will be better if you read it. Try Cliffs Notes, there you can get a good ysis and a short summary of the whole novel. That would only take an hour.
