I think there is a subtle theme of "live your life looking from the outside in rather than as yourself in the center and looking from the inside out."
I have a project that deals with connections amongst literature, and I'm going to compare this theme with Great Gatsby and "Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" I think this theme can be found lying subtle-ly (sp?) within each of these works as well. What do you think?
