Robert Bingham is/was probably the writer with the most talent- he certainly had the material. if you haven't read 'pure slaughter value,' a book of his shorts, or 'lightning on the sun,' his first novel, they make for good reading. occasionally brilliant. his personal story would be outstanding for the pbs format- check out his bio, it should be all over the wire stories ie blue-blooded scion turned tribeca editor and novelist dies of heroine od. heady stuff.

: Hey, please nominate a couple of your favorite writers, essayists, spoken word performers. They need to be fairly well established professionals (not your boyfriend). I'm looking for the types of contributors to "This American Life," but not these exact same people. Who are the best and brightest new voices shaping this generation?
