What cause do you have to ume that human existence is the ultimate purpose of the rest of the universe? To me, that's just egocentric thinking. There are many aspects of nature that are opposed to human existence, and make things difficult for our survival. Why do we die? Why are we confined by a narrow range of temperatures and pressures? We live on a speck of dust surrounded by lethal vacuum. _Most_ of the universe is not "fine tuned for human existence."
