: I am writing a paper on the symbolism of hands used in Fahrenheit 451. It is a 8 paragraph (min.) paper including an intro, 6 (min.) body paragraphs and a comclusion. I have the intro and three body paragraphs done.My thesis points so far are (we were instructed to use situations): I. 1st page when Montag is burning books, II. When Montag burns the old lady and her house, III. whe Garnger is remembering his grandfather and his hands. I plan on having at least one more thesis, but at this point, I am undecided. So far I have one paragraph for each topic, but, I am having trouble finding supports and critical comments to develop the paper. I have qoutes from the Bible to show how our hands can be destructive or productive, the good and eveil of them, and also how just like God's hands shape the world, Montag's and our hands shape our lives, the world we live in, and our destiny. I had done this paper for my semester test earlier in the year, and was told I could build on it. My teacher suggested I try to "sponge" other's brains and qoute them or things of that nature. My teacher commented that my prveious paper was good, but I needed more support. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on what supports you think would work in my paper. Thanks.
