I'm an 8th gr. student, and our cl just finished reading the story. We found that irony
plays a big part in this story because were expecting Lavinia to be murdered in the ravine, instead she was killed in the supposed safety of
her home. The setting of the ravine mislead the readers and Lavinia to be frightened and just when we thought she was safe bam! We really loved this story and the imagery Bradbury uses.
