Although I think her book interesting, I definitely think she makes some unbelievable raches. For example, she says that Jefferson's dome on Monticello resembles a round ...implying that he remodeled Monticello in this manner because he missed his dead wife. If any graduate student would have submitted such a theory in a thesis, I suspect it would have been soundly rejected as unsound theory-making by the academic advisors.....
