You could use something from the sphere of classical music. Mann was impressed by Gustav Mahler, and used his musical impressions for "Death in Venice".
Personally I think the title of your essay should concern the biggest theme in Mann's story - the striving, hard-working artist (which could be seen as a symbol of Europe) who gives in to dangerous, irrational forces, dwelling in his subconscious, awakened by pure beauty, sustained by fatigue.
(To follow this symbolism further, Tadzio could be seen as the modern world - perhaps the United States to be specific. But Mann knew little of America when he wrote "Death...".)
Well, the story in question is one of those great litterary works that you can interpret in millions of ways. There should be as many possible titles fgr you to choose from.
