From what I can tell, he continues on his theme of celebration of nature and of the present..."there was never any more inception than there is now, nor any more youth or age than there is now,and will never be any more perfection..." Whitman was an clearly an optimist at heart and never diverted from this theme in page #3. He celebrates man's virtues and vices for their own inherent beauty. If you have to write an essay keep BS'n on this theme. Sorry I can't help your out to much more.
