Hello all--

I am devising a script using Jaques' "All the world's a stage" text as a skeleton. Upon combing through the text i was confused about a reference II,vii,155-156: with a oeful ballad made to his mistress' eyebrow. WHy the heck eyebrow??? and then also II,vii,160-161: good capon lined. I understand the reference, but in the time of Shakespeare were Capons so wonderful to have that you could be bribed with one???

I'd really appreciate any help with these questions as well as a site perhaps where you can get in depth line readings for the Bards work.
