The Merry Wives of Windsor is about a man named Falstaff, who writes the same letter to two married woman because he is in love with both of them. The wives both know that he wrote the same letter and decide to play a trick on him (Make him believe that they want to have an affair with him). Well one of the wive's husband (Ford) is a very jealous man and suspects that his wife is cheating on him. So the wives fist hide him in a basket then dress him up in a witches clothes so the towns people and Ford can beat him util he tells that he is a man and not a witch. This story is very hard to explain and I hope I cleared things up for you.
