Hello everyone, I just posted this message to say some of what I have observed about the reading of Shakespeare in today's public schools. It seems to me that every so often, one student or another who seemingly has never read anything of this genre before will instantly pick up on the language. It actually astounded me the first time I observed it, the student sight read all of the 16th century language with ease, never stumbling on even a single line. What do you all think?
