"There's an old adage that says that a robin is the first sign of spring. For others, the first sign of spring is a hiker in the woods. This Robin is a Woodspirit searching for harbingers of spring as he hikes the hills and valleys of Cairn Forest. He holds a map and a walking stick to aid in navigating the piney trails. His Dutch coin for ten cents indicates that he will hike ten miles. Then it's time to head for home and a hearty dish of acorn stew. My Robin may remind you of another great adventurer, Robinson Crusoe, who was the first to say, "Thank goodness it's Friday!""
