Why couldn't Threadbare do this job, Hem lamented . . . he isn't wearing anything anyway! The dress is to be worn at the upcoming Sewing Circle Dance. Although Hem hates to be "tied down", his sister Lacy offered to do just that in order to get this dress just right for the formal. So please, don't ask Hem if he's going with his wife . . . he'll just skirt the issue."
